Everyone has seen the extensive advertising on television and heard the ads on the radio for steel buildings, and while the ad may sound very attractive, it is only half the story.  Once you buy a building you now have several other problems; is the zoning of your property correct, do you need a use permit, have you got an approved site plan, can you get a building permit, who is going to construct the building, have you got financing in place to pay for the new construction.  These are just a few of the challenges that you will encounter.  Others may be fire department approval (sprinkler systems), grading and drainage plan approval, flood control review, parking requirements, and building safety approval.
